The morning opened with one of the nicest moonsets I’ve seen. The clouds over Mount Brew were lined with brilliant shades of silver. The scene was framed with the gentle curve of the Fraser River below and snow-covered hills on the sides.
What a blessing it is to live in a world that delivers fresh artwork over the rugged yet inviting terrain!
The illuminated moon is a perfect illustration of what I want this website to be. It has no light of its own, but when it reflects the light of the sun, it sure makes an amazing difference in the darkness of night.
We can choose how we want to be like the moon. Will we reflect the light that God gives us into the darkness around us? Or will we be content with darkness? Or will we take credit for what God gives us, and block the light as an eclipsing moon?
My prayer is that we will humbly reflect the Light.
